Having fun in Mount Dora and meeting new people.

Meet Vicky and Jaun Salavaria from Miami.

We met Jaun in our former lives as landscape designers; he manages

one of the best high-rise condominiums in Bal Harbor, Fl.

We really enjoyed talking about old memories, dining together, and we welcomed the

opportunity to forge a more personal relationship.

We are looking forward to their return trip!

We had a lot of laughs with the Moabas, the Sullivans, and the Brusatos.

They truly know how to travel and enjoy life.

You will notice the picture is a little blury; however, I am

a chef, not a photographer.

Coming soon Moaba Joe's Bistro!

Betty and Sue are two sisters, who are a riot!

Betty lives in Phoenix Arizona and Sue is a hop, skip and

a jump away in Largo, Fl. They promised to hold up our sign for us, as long

as I continue to make them breakfast..

Here we are with our new friends, Barry and Jill.

What a great weekend we all had at the Mount Dora Art Festival.

We spent a wonderful evening together at

our new house--Wine, Chicken Marsala, and lots of laughs, what a life!

We also had great conversation and alot in common with Greg and Marcy.

We will be having them over for dinner next time they come.

Here is chef Jim and his new friend, the Chicken.

This is some "Chicken Soup for Amy's Soul"!

Compliments of our guests--Lynn and Ron.

We had a lot of fun with the Chicken.

Here we see from left to right, Ana and Jim with Fred and Cecily from Ft. Meyers.

Ana and Jim were from Miami until they fell in love with Mount Dora,

they are now the new innkeepers of the Inn.

Susan and Dawn wanted a quiet, relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle.

Based on their wonderful smiles, I see they found what they were looking for.

Terry and Marta are from Kendall. Ana and Jim (new Innkeepers) were partners with Terry in Miami.

Wow, was he surprised to become sole-proprietor of their business, and Marta was pleased,

as he is not splitting the profits three ways!

Here are the Zapone "Sisters" as they liked to be called,

enjoying a wonderful trip of shopping, dining, and sightseeing.

They were alot of fun, we look forward to having them back at our Inn.

The Bennetts shown above were here for a little midweek getaway.

She has a very interesting occupation in that she works

for Sea World and works in the water with the dolphins and manatees. Very interesting stories.

The Leduc's got married and spent their honeymoon

here at the Mount Dora Historic Inn.

Bonnie lived in Mount Dora as a child and

wanted to get married here. They live in North Carolina now.

Andrea and Michael Reilly own Michael's Grill

in Tampa on Dale Mabry and have stayed with us several times

to get away from the rigors of owning their restaurant.

The Albano's off to dinner in the horse drawn carriage. This could be you.

The Boehk's spent their honeymoon at our Inn.

The Gackenbach's above celebrated their 55 anniversary here.

In 1945, Mister Gackenbach was the navigator

on the chase plane to the Enola Gay which dropped the first atomic bomb.

He took the only photographs of the explosion. His plane was 12 miles away.

The four Snope brothers and their spouses had their annual family

reunion here at our Inn. David made up some shirts

for each with a picture of our Inn on it for everybody

Whoah, How did he get in here?
